Vera Bradley Fall 2012 Collection

It's the middle of July and Vera Bradley has released their Fall 2012 collection! Yes, that's right, the fall collection is now available for the public to purchase. Here are the patterns:
Va Va Bloom
* All images are from Vera Bradley's blog insidestitch.com

Indigo Pop

Paisley Meets Plaid

I really like all three patterns but I think I like Indigo Pop the most. It has a very simple pattern that is easy on the eyes. Va Va Bloom is a little wild but I love the color choices. Paisley Meets Plaid is a very Vera Bradley style pattern. Usually they thrown in paisley in one of their patterns every once in a while.

This fall they also introduced a new bath and bedding collection! I really want to check that out! I think it's Vera Bradley's goal to cover everything with their patterns...What are they taking over next... furniture?...apparel?...hair accessories?

Summer 2012 Vera Bradley Prints

It seems that when I just get the "new" spring print, the summer prints come out like a week later. Anyway, this summer's prints are full of floral prints in eye-catching colors. Vera Bradley has so many prints I wonder how they come up with new ones when all they use are flowers and paisleys! I like the color schemes but since I don't need anything right now, I probably won't get anything in the summer print. The fall prints will come out by the time I consider getting something in the summer print. Anyways...
Here are the prints:
Doodle Daisy

Super sized daisies and groovy flowers in a graphic-infused design of true blues, absinthe green and crisp white create a playful, energetic feeling. On a lawn of tiny green posies, they're sure to make a smile bloom on your face. The retro-modern windowpane lining adds a fresh finishing touch.
Lime's Up

A tangy twist on floral, with fresh-squeezed appeal. Juicy citrus tones mix it up with cool turquoise and teal, kelly green and white. Black adds the defining element. Inside, a jungle of modernist leaves lends a wood block effect to this graphic design.
Priscilla Pink

A big, bright, beautiful floral that's no "shrinking violet"! Vibrant pink sets the stage for this stylized botanical motif of chartreuse, gray, black and vanilla. A sprinkling of black-and-white blossoms lines the inside, making its own, sweet pretty-in-pink statement.
Summer Cottage

Like bright sunshine in an old-fashioned summer garden, this bouquet of flowers flourishes in red, carnation pink and golden yellow. Navy and cornflower blues contrast with white, creating movement. The picnic basket-weave lining design completes the free and breezy mood.

Overall, the prints are really nice and I like all of them. I don't have a favorite though. Which of these prints would you buy?

Mall Haul

I just went to the mall and I stopped by at Delia's, American Eagle, and Vera Bradley.

At Delia's I got 4 tops. I got an all over lace tank in a dark blue/purple color. It has lace flowers all over it. It's so pretty! I also got Lexi Printed Short Sleeve Tee with Love is in Bloom written across it. I love this tee, it is super super soft!!! I also needed some longer sleeves so I got the lace sleeve raglan in dark purple. It's a more redish toned purple compared to the lace tank. Finally I got the open neck printed top in the color blush. I think I stretched it out a little too much in the picture, but it is loose. I would layer a tank under it.

In American Eagle, I picked up some jewelry. I happened to have a 25% off coupon and there was a BOGO sale for the jewelry so I got a great deal! I got the AEO Beaded Disk necklace and the AEO Filigree Earrings. I thought they looked so pretty and very good quality. Also, they go together very well!

In Vera Bradley, I bought the handbag called Sophie in the print Island Blooms. The print is in the new spring collection and the lady told me that it was their current best-selling print. I really like this purse. It's small but perfect for someone like me who doesn't really carry that many things. I really like the blue/turquoise color in this print. The inside print is very interesting as well. There are 4 pockets inside and 2 pockets on the outside for plenty of storage!

Do you have any recent hauls? I'd like to see them! :D

Spring 2012 Vera Bradley Patterns

Vera Bradley has come out with new spring patterns!

The first is Camellia. Evoking all the romance of a 19th-century garden, these soulful camellia blossoms offer a harmonious anthem of soft white, dusty taupe and shades of graphite gray. A wreath of laurel leaves bands the trim and repeats in the circular lining design.

I like the flowers however I would think for spring it needs more bright colors. It does match easily with any outfit though!

The second pattern is Island Blooms. Reflected in a crystal-clear aqua lagoon, intoxicating white blossoms and tropical chartreuse foliage recall a lively floral painting by Gauguin. Inside, a surprisingly modernist design blends beautifully, proving there's a tropic hideaway anywhere you look. Paradise Found!

The turquoise is very pretty but the white stands out too much.

The third pattern is Ellie Blue. Like the colors of a faraway marketplace, shades of indigo blue set the stage for papyrus white, golden saffron and a touch of blue-gray. Inside and out, the Eastern-inspired paisley motif is charmingly highlighted by majestic and lucky white elephants.

There is lots of intricate details in this pattern. If you are a big fan of blues and yellows then this would be great for you. I personally don't like those colors together but that's just my taste.

The final pattern is Rosy Posy. An eye-catching combination of petite paisleys and oversized florals for the modern-day gypsy. Layers of colors from burgundy to berry, coral to cream and lemon drop set a happy pace for the optimistic traveler in all of us!

I love the colors in this pattern. It has huge flowers on a paisley background.

Overall, I prefer the winter patterns such as tea garden, rhythm and blues, and very berry paisley. *After a while I do feel that Island Blooms has grown on me. The blue is gorgeous in real person! Do you prefer these new prints or the winter prints?
