I actually first got into beauty and fashion this year. I made a lot of new discoveries through other blogs and YouTube. These are my favorites of the year!

Favorite scrub: Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Scrub- this product does a nice job of exfoliating gently while still removing dirt and oil

Favorite Moisturizer: Aveeno Ultra-Calming Daily Moisturizer- an inexpensive and soothing moisturizer

Favorite nail polish: Sally Hansen Fuchsia Power- post here

Favorite Balm: EOS lip balm in Summer Fruit- moisturing, smells yummy, and cute packaging! What's not to love?

Favorite Lip Product: Revlon Lip Butter in Peach Parfait- post here

Favorite Mascara: Lancome Definicils Mascara- Amazing at lengthening lashes without clumping!

Favorite Eyeshadow Quad: Lancome Color Design Quad (got it as a part of gift with purchase set, not for individual sale, not sure if available)- the colors are gorgeous and nicely pigmented

Back to School Haul {Part 1}

This is a collective fashion haul for back to school. I will try to do some outfit posts with these clothes in the future. I went to American Eagle, Delia's and Bath & Body Works. The links are all included if you want to get them. :)
The first top I got is the AE Open Stitch Popover in pink. It is super super soft! The front is higher than the back. The material is much thinner than a sweater so I plan on just wearing it as a long sleeve as the weather turns cooler.

Here's an up close look at the material. What I like about it is that it has some subtle pops of hot pink in it which makes it more exciting and easy to pair a scarf with.
Now that brings up the next item I picked up which is a scarf! The AEO Floral Loop Scarf is labeled as coral but I would say it's more of a hot pink and coral blend in person. It has some cute flowers that match the base color of the popover. Very light and soft with frayed edges.
I got this tank to layer under the popover (it's kind of see through). The front is nothing special but the back is just covered in a beautiful lace pattern. Similar here.

The next top is a polka dotted Peter Pan collar top. It's made out of a chiffon like material. Two trends in one! Haha!
Under that top I would layer this tank
I also got a pair of dark wash jeggings. A bonus- it came in short! I hate having to roll up jeans because my legs are too short. A girl can never have too many jeans right? For some reason I don't like light rinse jeans so I always get dark ones. I didn't find any colored jeans that I liked. :(
These are very comfortable and flattering. American Eagle makes quality jeans.
I bought some American Eagle items from online because I had a special 15% off discount. I've really been into scarves recently. They can really spice up your outfit! I love this pattern and it has little tassels on the edges.
I needed a cute belt so I picked out this nice braided one.
I got the ribbon back t which is in a gorgeous pink. The back it so pretty!
The last top I got is my favorite one. The AE Pleated Floral Blouse is sooooooo beautiful especially in person. Unfortunately the red is sold only online. The blue is in stores though. Very flattering. The back is more sheer than the front so I plan on wearing a red tank under that I already have.
At Delia's I just picked up these rings. I like the vintage look that they have. I don't know why but they're unavailable online so I guess if you like them you'll have to search in store. They come as a 5 piece set.
At Bath and Body Works I picked up some hand sanitizer. They usually have a 5 for $5 sale going on. My favorite scent is the sweet cinnamon pumpkin. I just think of fall when I take a whiff of it. They're a perfect size to pop into a purse, pocket, or school bag!

That is the end of my haul! Sorry this post is so long. I hope you guys enjoyed it and I will have a school supplies haul coming soon!

Lucky Contributor

Hey everyone! I am a Lucky Contributor!!!!!!!

What does that mean? Well, Lucky Magazine started a program called Lucky Community that lets bloggers like us to post stuff from our blogs that involve fashion, beauty, etc. Isn't that exciting? All you have to do is make an account and submit posts to Lucky for them to review and they might publish your posts! They have a voting system when your post is published which is basically "liking" someone's post. I'd appreciate if you'd vote for my post (click on the blue number with an arrow next to it). Click here to view my post! Thanks!

Top 5 Fall 2012 Trends by Emma

Hey guys! Emma is here with an awesome post about new fall trends. Take it away Emma...

Hi! This is Emma, from the blog Teen Fashion from Suburbia. Since school is coming once again, it’s back to school shopping time! Back to school shopping is very important if you want to look your very best for the new school year, so today I will be focusing on the trends for this fall. Many great fashion websites showcase trends very well, but they show the trends through designer clothes that most people cannot afford. I will show the top 5 Fall 2012 trends through clothes in affordable and stylish stores such as H&M, Delia’s, American Eagle and Express.

Obsession: Brandy Melville

Recently Brandy Melville has been getting a lot of love on YouTube. I've seen several hauls from different beauty and fashion gurus that featured Brandy Melville. I heard its style is like Urban Outfitters but more affordable. They have lots of cute tees, tanks, shorts, and accessories.
Beautybaby44 is holding up one of their tanks. The details on the elephant are so intricate!

Meghanrosette is holding up one of their dip dye shorts. I'd love to get myself a pair of their shorts!

Stilababe09 is wearing one of their rings. They have lots of studded jewelry.

Akaydoll is holding one of their cross necklaces. I've been seeing crosses a lot now. Possibly a new trend?
Apparently there are only locations in California and New York in the U.S. so they're not really close by for me... but they do have an online website which I will be checking out! http://brandymelvilleusa.com/

Have you guys heard about Brandy Melville? Are there any stores you're obsessing about?
