My New Favorite Perfume!

Hey guys! Since it's winter break I have some time to create some new posts! Just a couple of days ago, I stopped by Sephora after doing some last minute Christmas shopping to look at some fragrances. At first, I was thinking of purchasing the Taylor Swift wonderstruck rollerball to try it out but I realized it wasn't the scent I was looking for. After sniffing the various rollerballs on display I settled on Daisy Eau So Fresh by Marc Jacobs. The scent is amazing!

The description on Sephora's website says it is "A whimsical interpretation of the original Daisy fragrance, this scent is more fruity, more bubbly, more fun! Open the bottle and you'll be transported to a field of sunshine that bursts with the flirty scent of flowers and the cheerful sweetness of fruits. Its light, woody base infuses a subtle but sharp glimmer of musk for an unexpected twist of radiance."

Um... I think most fragrance descriptions a tad bit exaggerated. Don't worry, the scent is still quite sophisticated. Even my mother really likes it!

The notes are "Natural Raspberry, Grapefruit, Pear, Violet, Wild Rose, Apple Blossom, Musks, Cedarwood, Plum".

I would describe it as light and sweet. The fragrance is very floral and fruity (well isn't that obvious, I am horrible at describing scents!). I would recommend it as a daytime scent since it's not overbearing and spicy. Spicy scents turn me away. I'm drawn the the sweeter scents.

Another aspect I like is the packaging!
It comes in a cute light pink box with little daisies on the border.

The bottle is adorned with tiny daisies and even the cap has a daisy! How pretty!

I have heard of the Daisy line of fragrances by Marc Jacobs however I wasn't originally intending on trying them out. Boy, was I glad that I did! This perfume has quickly become one of my favorites! I would totally recommend it. What is your favorite perfume?

  1. Love anything Marc Jacobs does. His perfumes are all fabulous and Daisy is a great mixture of flowery lightness and some subtle undertones that balance it out and make it so wearable and flattering.

    1. Yeah, Daisy Eau So Fresh is a new addition to the Daisy line so it is not as well known. It's my pleasure to share my findings with you all. Thanks for leaving this sweet comment! :)

  3. Hey Kassica! Remember me? I changed my URL this fall (I used to be viva la vida valentina?) I've rediscovered your blog! Personally I like less fruity and sweet perfumes (I'm considering purchasing Guerlain's Shalimar at some point!)
    Following you on GFC!
