Kony 2012

Upon request, I have decided to do a post about Kony 2012. I first heard about it 3 days ago. A group called the Invisible Children Inc. created a video talking about Joseph Kony and the horrible things he is doing to children in Uganda. It has 64 million views (as of this post)! I will post the video below. This 30 minute long video has stirred up quite the debate, is it real or is it a scam? Well, Joseph Kony is certainly real and has made news on CNN and ABC. However, there has been criticism on what the Invisible Children group has spent donations and money earned from the cause. They have been spending money on advertising and spreading the message. So if you feel like they're not using the money in the best way possible, you can choose not to donate or buy the starter kit. You can still help by spreading the message that Joseph Kony needs to be found and arrested. But, if you really want to donate, feel free and go ahead! No one's stopping you. Anyway the whole point of this is that we should the spread message so that Joseph Kony can be stopped before more people especially children are harmed/killed!

This is the Invisible Children Video.

  1. This is very upsetting, but I'm so happy so many people all over the world are able to hear about the horrible crimes of Kony. The world needs to put a stop to these inhumane crimes!!

  2. I have a suggestion for a post: could you do something on dresses? like fashionable ones for a party type thing but not too pricey?
